Furnished residences in Paris

A flat that is ready when you arrive

Joymann runs a small number of furnished residences across Paris and keeps them ready for the people who stay in them — for a few nights between meetings, for a season while a relocation settles, or for a family visiting the city for a month.

No online booking, no card form. You write to a person and we answer with real availability. Rates on request — tell us the dates and we reply with the total.

Why not a hotel

A hotel changes who you are. A flat does not.

In a hotel you pack light, because everything is in the room and nothing is yours. In a furnished residence you unpack once, and the kitchen is actually there.

A kitchen you will use

Proper hob, oven, fridge, and a table that seats four. Most business trips never touch a hotel restaurant three nights running — we plan on the assumption that you will cook, at least sometimes.

Space to work

A desk that takes a laptop, a chair that holds a person for a week, and a door that closes. Not a lobby desk — a desk.

Bills already inside

Electricity, water, heating, wifi, weekly cleaning and linen are in the rate. You are not chasing a supplier at eleven at night.

The residences

Six homes, each with its own street

We do not run a large portfolio. Each residence below is one we know door by door, and the listing tells you what is actually on the corner.

Who stays

Three reasons people book with us

Between assignments

A consultant on a six-week engagement, a family splitting the cost of a flat, someone whose office is being repainted. The length varies; the need for a proper kitchen does not.

Family weeks

Two bedrooms, a cot we can put in, and a neighbourhood with a market, a park and a school run within walking distance. We can arrange the cot before you arrive.

Long stays at a lower rate

From four weeks the rate changes, and above eight it changes again. Longer stays also get the monthly clean rather than the weekly one, which suits people who are living there rather than passing through.

For owners

Own a flat in Paris? Let it work for you.

Most of our residences belong to people who live abroad, or who own a flat they use three weeks a year. Both want the same thing: it is occupied well, and someone is answerable when a guest calls at eight in the morning.

We price it honestly

You get a figure with reasoning behind it, not a fantasy. If your flat will not reach the number you have in mind, we tell you that before you sign anything.

Furnishing is shared

You keep the pieces you care about and we handle the rest. We photograph, we list, we set the rate between stays, and we reset the flat after each departure.

One point of contact

A manager who knows the building, plus a monthly statement that shows the nights, the rate and the costs. No long chains of agencies.

How a booking works

Three messages, one confirmation

There is no checkout on this site. You tell us the dates, the number of people and how many nights; we come back with what is free, the rate and the deposit. The flat is held for 48 hours while you decide.

01

You write

The enquiry form, or a plain email if that is easier. Dates, number of guests, number of nights — that is genuinely all we need to start.

02

We check and reply

Usually the same working day. You get the residences that are free, the total rate including bills, and the deposit terms in plain figures.

03

You confirm, we prepare

A written confirmation with arrival details, wifi, and the name of the person who will meet the flat. Linen is ready before you arrive.

Where they are

Walking distance, not sightseeing distance

Every residence is on a street you could live on — a bakery, a pharmacy, a market and a metro within a few minutes. None of them is in a district people visit only once.

Le Marais

Le Marais

The narrow streets either side of Rue des Rosiers. Best eating in walking distance, and busiest on a Saturday.

8th arrondissement

8th arrondissement

Smaller, quieter, and closer to the Seine. Long walks down to the river without a plan.

13th and 14th

13th and 14th

Where most of our owners live. Markets, parks, and a flat feel that is less staged than the 6th.

10th, canal side

10th, canal side

Industrial buildings turned into lofts, and the canal on the doorstep. Quieter than people expect.

Jaurès

Jaurès

Ten minutes from both the République and the Canal — the practical middle of the east side.

Parc de Montsouris

Parc de Montsouris

The quietest of the six. The park fills up by nine and empties again after dinner.

What guests say

Two clean weeks in a flat that worked for both of us, and a manager who answered the one time the boiler needed attention. We have booked three times since.

I came for four weeks of work and stayed nine. Having a washing machine and a door that closes did more for me than any hotel could have.

The flat was exactly as the photographs described it, which sounds like a low compliment until you have booked the alternative three times.

We publish no star rating and no review widget. These are words guests have given us directly.
